The Chamber emphasizes that this is a great opportunity to raise the profile of your business and recognize your team's efforts.
All businesses based in and around Barking and Dagenham are encouraged to submit entries.
There is also no limit to the number of categories you can enter.
Every year, the Chamber of Commerce Business Awards is a huge celebration of business in Barking and Dagenham.
This year, companies can apply in 11 different categories, providing many opportunities for diverse companies to participate.

“While we are focusing on businesses located in Barking and Dagenham, we also have a category open to businesses based outside our area and doing business in Barking and Dagenham.
“There are plenty of opportunities to get involved, and it’s free for all companies to join.”
Companies still have the chance to celebrate their success and achievements by becoming one of the shortlisted ventures in this year's competition.
The black tie dinner and awards ceremony will be held at Dagenham & Redbridge FC, Victoria Road, Dagenham, on June 6th.

The twelfth category, Barking & Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year 2024, is a jury decision for winners in the categories listed above.

This year, as a special tribute, there will also be a Sominder Panesar Award commemorating the late Sominder Panesar's contribution to the Barking and Dagenham Chamber of Commerce Business Award and the Chamber itself.
This award recognizes individuals who continue to make a difference in the local business community.
