US stocks fell this morning, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping more than 200 points on Tuesday.
After the market opened on Tuesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.63% to 38,624.13, while the Nasdaq was down 0.14% to 17,168.65. The S&P 500 also fell 0.33% to 5,342.91.

The NFIB Small Business Optimism Index rose to 90.5 in May, the highest level in five months from 89.7 in April and above market expectations of 89.8.
Stock trading rises
- Trio Oil Co., Ltd.(NYSE: TPET) shares rose 89% to $0.4355 after the company completed its first two exploration wells.
- of stocks Nauticus Robotics(NASDAQ:KITT) rose 39% to $0.3211 after rising 49% on Monday.
- Airship AI Holdings Inc.(NASDAQ:AISP) shares also rose, up 28% to $4.03. Airship AI announced it has been awarded a six-figure sole-source contract within the Department of Justice for its Acropolis Enterprise Video and Data Management Platform.
Stock trading is declining
- Target Hospitality Corporation(NASDAQ:TH) shares fell 41% to $6.22 after the company said it had been notified that the U.S. government intends to terminate its existing South Texas Family Residential Center services contract with Immigration Program Partners.
- of stocks BIG TREE CROWD HOLDINGS LIMITED. (NASDAQ:DSY) fell 28% to $2.59.
- Core Civic Corporation (NYSE:CXW) fell 23% to $11.38 after the company said it had received notice from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that the agency intends to terminate an intergovernmental services agreement for services at the South Texas Family Residential Center.

In commodity news, crude oil was down 0.1% to trade at $77.70, while gold rose 0.3% to trade at $2,334.40.
Silver prices fell 1.2% to $29.52 on Tuesday, while copper prices fell 0.9% to $4.5040.
Eurozone
European stocks fell today. The euro zone's STOXX 600 fell 0.9%, Germany's DAX lost 0.8%, France's CAC 40 lost 1.3%, Spain's IBEX 35 index fell 1.8%, and London's FTSE 100 lost 1.1%.
The number of people in the UK employed fell by 139,000 in the three months to April, but the average weekly wage including bonuses rose 5.9% year-on-year to £687. UK unemployment rose to 4.4% between February and April, up from 4.3% in the previous three months.
Asia Pacific Market
Asian markets ended mixed on Tuesday with Japan's Nikkei rising 0.25%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index down 1.04%, China's Shanghai Composite Index down 0.76% and India's S&P BSE Sensex rising 0.2%.
Japan's machine tool orders in May increased 4.2% from the same month last year to 124.554 billion yen, after falling 11.6% in the previous month.
