SINGAPORE, Oct 23, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Ascott Limited (Ascott) has announced six appointments across its business development, strategy and operations departments to support the global expansion of its operations and franchise agreements and drive strategic growth. According to the brand, the appointments come as Ascott sets out on a new growth trajectory to achieve its target of generating fee income of more than S$500 million by 2028.
The newly appointed members of Ascott's business development team include Vanessa Khoo, vice president of business development for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines and Vietnam; Teo Jun Loong, vice president of business development for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia; and Thomas Lamson, vice president of business development and product and technical services for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Additionally, Managing Director for China, Joseph Wong, will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of Ascott's operations as well as driving business development in this important market.

To identify strategic growth opportunities and drive operational excellence, Ascott has hired Steven Chan as vice president, Global Franchise Services and regional general manager, Indochina, and Sophie Mogel as vice president, Strategy and regional general manager, Philippines and Malaysia, who will lead a dual portfolio leveraging their deep local knowledge to capture new opportunities in these markets.
