Techstars and the University of Richmond will host Techstars Startup Weekend at UR's Robins School of Business from March 22-24. The event is designed as a creative and collaborative three-day program for aspiring entrepreneurs to experience startup life.
This event is open to the public and anyone can develop and propose new startup ideas. The weekend involves creating a business model, validating it with potential customers, and competing within a supportive community.
Techstars' global network is designed to help entrepreneurs succeed. Founded in 2006, Techstars began with his three ideas. Entrepreneurs create a better future for everyone. Collaboration drives innovation. Great ideas can come from anywhere.
In addition to operating accelerator programs and venture capital funds, Techstars connects startups, investors, companies, and cities to help build startup communities. To date, he has invested in more than 2,200 companies, whose market capitalization currently exceeds $30 billion.
