SMEs can explore opportunities through trade
Trade is an entry point for small and medium-sized enterprises to expand their reach and influence. This opens the door to new markets and allows small business owners to showcase their products and services on the international stage. This expansion not only benefits the companies themselves, but also contributes to the economic prosperity of the country as a whole.
Clark noted that more than 97% of U.S. companies that export goods fall into the small business category, highlighting the important role of these companies in international trade. These businesses also contribute to about one-third of U.S. merchandise exports.
Mr. Clark highlighted the Chamber's efforts to advocate for a stronger trade agenda that benefits both working families and small business job creators.

At the end of the keynote, Mr. Clark congratulated the finalists for America's Top Small Business Awards.
