How to be successful while being authentic. You no longer have to fit into a certain box to do business. Digital Marketing Maven offers some tips on how to do this.
The word “maven” in the Oxford Dictionary means an expert or an expert. With the success of Sammy Bivens' agency, she is doing just that, helping her clients achieve the visibility they desire.
Bivens is a business owner, entrepreneur, and digital marketing guru based in Dallas, Texas. She is the founder and CEO of Digital Marketing Maven & Associates. Maven & Associates is a full-service digital marketing and business development hub for business owners who want to further market themselves to attract their ideal audience while perfecting their company's branding.
Considering the amount of success she's had, it's hard to believe that the adopted Arkansas native didn't initially want to get into entrepreneurship. Bivens, who graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2009, needed to find a way to make a living after her graduation. She eventually took matters into her own hands and launched her first business venture, a fashion-based business called 'Tainted Rose.' Her efforts grew as she wanted to use her skills to help others. From there, Sammy leveraged her talents in social media marketing, e-commerce, and branding to found DMM. She also holds a master's degree in business administration.
Prior to joining DMM full time, Bivens worked as a marketing manager for a global company. She has been featured in notable publications such as: essence magazine, scene Magazine, and 2021-2022 Winter Issue Co., Ltd. magazines etc. Additionally, Bivens earned his third place in the 2021 Small Biz Challenge and caught the attention of the UPS Store.
