Womble Bond Dickinson partner Sherilyn Hurley LeBon has been elected to the Capital Business Development Association (CBDA) Board of Directors.
CBDA is a nonprofit organization that helps small, medium, and large businesses in the government contracting sector identify, capture, and operate in federal, state, and local markets. The organization's members include more than 2,000 government contractors, service providers, and system integrators.
LeBon has more than 25 years of experience guiding companies in government contracting and corporate matters. A former presidential appointee to the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), she guides clients through every step of the federal procurement process.
Her government contracting experience includes advising clients on regulatory compliance, structuring joint venture agreements, counseling on mentor-protégé programs, teaming agreements, contract interpretation and performance counseling, negotiating equitable adjustment requests, and subcontract disputes. settlement, termination, suspension, and other matters.
