Unfortunately, due to funding structures and other cyclical factors, we are understaffed these days. Over the past year, significant permitting delays have hampered local housing production. Recently, we have experienced unprecedented testing delays. In Washington County, inspections are always performed the day after the request, allowing your project to move forward smoothly. Recent timeline has him over 2 weeks old. Although contractors can plan and schedule in advance, any changes to the schedule or corrections due to inspections can result in significant delays. (Washington County is working to improve service levels and has several positions available starting in Spring 2023.)
