Chicago-based digital marketing and transformation consultancy Bounteous has hired Mike Swartz and Ronak Desai as senior vice presidents of business development.
Mr. Swartz and Mr. Desai will join the company's management team and will focus on growth in the consumer services and financial services segments, respectively.
Based in Chicago, Swartz has more than 20 years of leadership experience in growth strategy, marketing and sales. He has deep expertise in driving sales and revenue growth in professional, agency, SaaS, client, and startup environments.
Mr. Swartz joins Bountius from Accenture Song, where he spent eight years, most recently serving as managing director of client strategy and growth. Prior to that, he served as vice president of marketing at Wiley and JCPenney.
Earlier in his career, Swartz served as senior director of customer experience at Carlson Marketing Worldwide and director of strategy and client services at Atomic.
He holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He joins Bounteous from Sutherland, where he was a sales executive in the financial services industry. Prior to that, Mr. Desai worked for 10 years at Cognizant, where he served as Director of Sales and Business Development and Partner with Clients in the Financial Services Industry.
Mr. Desai also previously served as Director of CGI and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Boston Group.
He holds an MBA from Clark University.

Bountious hired Larry Hintz as chief financial officer earlier this year.
